Nike Free Inneva Woven
While the Nike Air Woven enjoyed a mini comeback this year thanks to that little Euro Cup pack it did have a bit of competition; it was forced to fight for attention just as its various spiritual successors from the Nike Flyknit collection were being revealed. This new design in the woven category known as the Nike Free Inneva Woven has popped up to help out. The model features the quilted look with a bit of a chunkier pattern before, along with a chukka style height and an awesome speckled

Nike WMNS Air Max 1 – Black – Wolf Grey – Rave Pink
If there’s one Nike Sportswear classic that gets more attention on the ladies side than mens, it’s gotta be the Air Max 1. Now clearly, there aren’t more Nike WMNS Air Max 1 releases than your typical adult (mens) size run, but the consistency with which ladies’ AM1 drops have dudes sizing up by 1.5 is something that simply can’t be ignored. Following up on the dope Utility Blue, Sunburst and Wolf Grey style we showed you earlier is this new black and Rave Pink style
Nike WMNS Free 5.0 V4 – Black – Leopard
Sneakertherapy just showed you that the Free Run+ 2 is simply too good to let go just because its sequel is already available, and now we get some more barefoot-mimicking variety specifically for ladies. The Nike WMNS Free 5.0 V4 is back in another black-based colorway, having already excelled in tonal leopard print and with golden accents. This latest style effectively combines those design elements, adding a Dark Gold Leaf leopard lining to an otherwise black/Anthracite build.
Michael Jordan and “The Shrug”
Michael Jordan’s greatness can be counted by all the historic moments and god-like accomplishments throughout his career. But even he’ll tell you that during some of these occurrences, there was no explaining as to how it was happening; it’s almost like an out-of-body experience of being in the zone, something that we’ve all at one point or another have been stuck in, whether its with shooting hoops, playing a video game, or doing some sort of repetitive, menial task. Sneaker News: Was
Nike Air Force 1 Low Supreme “Air Max 97″ Sample
These days the Nike Air Force 1 Low is rubbing elbows with the Foamposite technology more and more, but keep in mind that it’s far from the first time a pair of Uptowns has gotten involved with a little cross campus homage. The Nike Air Force 1 Low has also dipped its toes into the Air Max realm, mixing up with the likes of the Nike Air Max 95 ‘Neon’. This sample from a few years back grabs onto the Nike Air Max 97 and its silver/red colorway, having seen a retail release without the
Nike Air Max 90 iD – New Fall 2012 Options
Nike iD has broadened its horizon by leaps and bounds thanks to the monthly Air Force 1 iD options as well as the selection of new models that debuted this year. Of course, we can’t forget one of the original models of the Nike iD run – the Air Max 90; for the mid-late Fall 2012 season, Nike iD has introduced an array of new color options as well as Anodized Leather for that shiny, matte finish. Two of the highlight colors are Metallic Silver and Gold if you still want to get in on the
Nike Air Max 95+ BB – Black – Total Orange
How much longer does the Nike Air Max 95+ BB have left in the spotlight? We’ve already got shots of a couple new hybrids on the horizon threatening to take it over: the Nike Air Max 95 EM and the Nike Air Max 95 Dynamic Flywire. Despite that its demise doesn’t appear too terribly eminent, with colorways like this spooky black and orange still making their way to retailers. Nike Air Foamposite Pro “Bright Crimson” – Release Reminder
Foamposites have always been more of a colder-weather footwear option, but that hasn’t stopped Nike Sportswear from making it a year-round affair! This Friday, the Air Foamposite saga continues with the release of the ‘Bright Crimson’ colorway of the Pro tomorrow at Nike Sportswear retailers, kicking off a tail end of 2012 that will see a ‘Pearlized Pink’ and a much more toned-down ‘Stealth’ in the coming months. This is potentially the last Foamposite Pro release of the
Jordan CP3.VI “Home”
Chris Paul’s caricature has been all over the place in the wake of his second gold medal victory with Team USA, but with the next NBA season something like sixty days away, it’s time to get serious with his sixth Jordan Brand signature. The Jordan CP3.VI continues the series’ infatuation with polygonal detailing and particularly diamond shapes, as the lightweight, breathable upper provides familiar colorblocking options and possibly a bit of gradient thanks to layering. The white peeking
Nike Air Force 1 Foamposite Low “Pewter”
Nike Sportswear’s Foamposite series has given us some curious colors over the past couple years, including the confusingly named Retro teal shade, the Gym Green look that uses its second word rather liberally and the upcoming Polarizing Pink edition whose name suggests its effect on the sneakerhead community. The Retro look is coming back by way of a ‘New Green’ Nike Air Force 1 Foamposite Low, and joining it will be another new look with plenty of historical hooks. These
Nike SB Dunk Low “Slate Blue” – Available
A new Nike SB Dunk Low Pro in suede is always a good thing, even better covered in blue. And when you can conjure images of legendary releases like the Futura collabo, ‘Stillwater’ and ‘Argon’, you’re looking at a can’t-miss recipe for success. The latest Dunk Low Pro SB features Slate Blue atop a Tar base layer, resulting in a twilight (no ‘Vamp’) style that even brings about the golden horizon with its gum rubber sole, a combination every bit
Air Jordan V – White/Black/Red 2013 Retro
The Air Jordan V is getting a little crazy in the near future. There’s that GS version donning a strawberry red upper and then of course the all-over elephant print look that caused quite a stir when the images first popped up. Fear not though, as at least on OG look is in store: the white/black/red that last popped up as part of the Countdown Pack. To help you out with the long wait we’ve spotted the first teaser shot of the sneakers, one that shows that they will arrive without the
Air Jordan 1 – Black – Royal Blue
No matter what retros arrive in 2013 it’s going to be rather hard to top this, the return of Nike Air on an Air Jordan silhouette. Yes that’s correct, the Air Jordan 1 pictured is among those set to release early next year, one of the non-Bulls looks in the huge catalog of Air Jordan 1's that has best stood the test of time. Nike WMNS Roshe Run Premium
The leading candidate for 2012's Sleeper Debut of the Year, Nike Sportswear’s Roshe Run has offered several new configurations for the second half. We’ve seen digi-camo, premium suede, and even a midtop Trail variation, and now come the first examples of one of the model’s built-in but as yet unexplored colorblocking options. These new Nike WMNS Roshe Runs are similar to the aforementioned PRMs with their all-suede uppers, but these add an extra twist with three tones spread atop a white
Jordan Melo M8 Advance
Carmelo Anthony returned to his birthplace in the middle of the 2010-11 NBA season, so Jordan Brand took the opportunity to shake things up with his seventh Jumpman signature. The Melo M7 Advance and Future Sole represented the addition of Flywire and a guest designer, respectively, and now we some of this tinkering recombined and twisted into the next Advance release. The Jordan Melo M8 Advance trades Kevlar strands for
Jordan Aero Flight – September 2012 Colorways
With school back in session around the August-September cusp every year, we can typically expect to see Basketball models in team-based colorways for the new basketball seasons. We recently saw the Kobe VII get the ‘Team’ options with tonal colorways in the Elite shell, but Jordan Brand has always been a player in the team game, like these four new Aero Flight colorways headed for a September release. Built with tonal uppers and white outsoles, we can thoroughly expect to see these on the

Rajon Rondo in Air Jordan VII “Olympic”
The associations between Rajon Rondo and the Nike Basketball Hyperfuse series are as strong as Rorschach and ink blots, but just like pretty much every guy in the NBA right now, Rondo grew up idolizing Michael Jordan. One of the players who helped to promote NBA2K11 by reliving some of MJ’s greatest moments continued to reimagine history over in the Philippines, where Rondo rocked the ‘Olympic’ Air Jordan VII Retro (and matching Dream Team ’92 shorts) during a
Nike Air Force 1 Deconstruct Premium – Black
The Nike Air Force 1 is bigger than ever in its 30th anniversary, but also smaller than ever, and trending even more so. 2012 brought us the luxurious XXX Pearl anniversary collection, Air Force 1 Low Deconstruct and new colorways from the WMNS AF1 Low Light. The upcoming AF1 Downtown starts the next thirty years with a middle ground, but here’s further proof that the Deconstruct deserves a spot in the regular rotation: a Premium-level blackout design with a novel combination

Nike North Star – Unreleased Sample
Low-cut, Flywire stability, sturdy heel-counter, carbon fiber mid-foot plate, wide-forefoot outrigger – seems like the formula for a Zoom Kobe model. However, while this sample may share some similar anatomy as the Nike Zoom Kobe VII, it has no true resemblance to the Kobe lineage and proves that similar parts can indeed have a different sum. This 2012 sample is actually noted as the ‘Nike North Star’ and features a unique Hyperfuse toe-box on top of all the Kobe-like details – could
Nike AF1 Downtown
The Nike Air Force 1 is rightfully recognized as a ‘timeless’ icon of Nike footwear, transcending the age of innovation and rising triumphantly as the undeniable representation of ‘Sportswear’. With its roots in basketball, the Bruce Kilgore design of ’82 traveled through the 90's as an urban legend of style, earning the nickname ‘Uptown’ for its popularity in the Harlem district of New York City and eventually becoming corporate verbage for the shoe. In the 2000's, the Air Force
Nike Air Force 1 Foamposite Low “Royal”
Given all the samples that we’ve seen floating around in 2012 it seems pretty likely at this point that the Nike Air Force 1 Foamposite Low will indeed see a retail release. Which version will hit is a bit of a tougher question, with both bulbous and flat Swooshed pairs appearing at different points. This latest look features the fatter Swoosh, along with a royal looking colorway that has them looking like a truer tribute than previous pairs thanks to the tie-in with the original
Nike LeBron X – Red/White
While the Nike LeBron X continues to get outfitted with plenty of colors that tie-in with King James’ Florida location at large, keep in mind that there will be no shortage of combos that point more directly to his home with the Heat. This red and white pair zooms in a bit more on Miami, forming perhaps the most ‘Heat’ looking combo we’ve seen yet together with that initial ‘Bred’ offering. Nike LeBron X “Cutting Jade”
What does your Christmas wish list look like right now? Pretty much every year around that time us sneakerheads have quite a lot to consider, with the season most recently being anchored by a crop of holiday themed releases from Nike Basketball. Last year’s group was particularly special what with the lockout coming to an end so the 2012 group certainly has its work cut out for it. While this Nike LeBron X is likely just the ‘Cutting Jade’ colorway cast in an alternate light, it

The Nike Air Foamposite One ‘Polarized Pink’ is one of the many releases we’ll be seeing this Holiday season, Alongside the ‘Stealth’ Foamposite that should be releasing around the same time. Where does the LeBron 9 rank on your list of best LeBron models of all-time? Before the IX rides off into the sunset and makes way for the launch of the LeBron X, it’s time to take a look back and see which LeBron is the ‘magnum opus’ of Nike’s longest-running series of shoes in the post-Jordan era. Air Jordan 6 GS – Black – Pink Flash – Marina Blue
The girls sizes have always offered up a few exclusives but it seems like as of late the category is really expanding, with recent previews like the ‘Grape’ Air Jordan XIII and the “Strawberry” Air Jordan V promising up even more goodies that the adult-footed among us just won’t be able to squeeze into. If you don’t want to switch up out of the Swoosh though then fear not, as they’ve just crafted a killer lifestyle looking boot known as the Nike Kingman Leather Textile. Nike Lunar TR1+ iD – Glow in the Dark Options
While the Nike Lunar TR1+ is getting shopped around the sports world as the collabo silo of choice what with the Manny Pacquiao and EA Sports editions there are still millions more possibilities at your fingertips. Nike LeBron 10 “Floridians” Away
For a guy who just helped his team win only the second NBA Championship in the history of the state, LeBron James’ upcoming aluminum anniversary signature sure is spending a bunch of energy on a long-defunct squad’s trademark colorway. But you can’t blame ‘Bron if Miami’s old ABA team has a more energetic palette than its current tenants, and it’s a simple fact that the ‘Floridians’ Nike LeBron X has an energy that the inline styles

Nike LeBron X “USA” White Box Edition
Coming off an NBA Title and an Olympic Gold Medal, expectations are expectedly high for the Nike LeBron X (and at a $300+ price-tag, Nike is aiming high). Air Jordan “Rainbow” Collection
In late May, sneakerheads got a visual taste of the Air Jordan Rainbow as we brought you a first look at one of the most unique Air Jordan promo sets ever created. The Air Jordan Rainbow Pack is anchored by a monochromatic color scheme starting with a rich maroon Air Jordan 1, traveling down to reds, oranges, greens, and blues, and arriving at the Air Jordan 2010 in the same maroon paintjob; the Collection was a nice reminder that there is still a lot of potential for the future of the Air
Nike LeBron 9 “What The LeBron” – New Images
There have been so many wildly energetic LeBron 9 colorways this year (releases and PEs made in-house as well as custom creations designed independently) that the line that separates the two sides is becoming a bit blurred. The LeBron 9 ‘What The LeBron’ is a perfect example of a shoe that could very much be a custom design, as it features a hodgepodge of LeBron 9 installments ranging from China to the outer Galaxy, so is this PE/sample just a case of Nike beating someone else to the

Nike Air Foamposite One – Stealth – Black
It was nearly three months ago that Sneaker News first showed you a new black Air Foamposite One whose ‘dark’ design was embellished with a subtle golden speckle and select red hits. It’s your decision to make now that we get another glimpse at the ‘Stealth’ Nike
Nike Air Max 1 “Questlove” Customs By JWDanklefs
Is the Air Max 1 moving up the sneaker custom power rankings? Most of what we’ve seen has been in the form of LeBron 9s or Air Jordans, but in light the ‘What The One’ customs from a two weeks back and this sick ?uestlove-inspired design, we just might have a new player in town. JWDanklefs, who has done some pristine work with Air Max customs before, transfers the famous 2008 1World Air Force 1 Low colorway with the red/green colorway and the elephant print on the midsole and
Nike Air Max Pillar – Black – Sport Red
When it comes to the current retro treatment the the Nike Air Max Pillar is undergoing there’s no doubt that that first volt colored pair had the most buzz going, but keep in mind that that’s far from the extent of what Nike Sportswear has to offer for the return of this chunky trainer. Keeping things up as September rolls around is this black and sport red pair, one that reverses the colorblocking of the already dropped ‘Pine Green’ to let the black play a bigger role. Nike Zoom LeBron II “Gloria”
There have been a few shoes in the Nike LeBron legacy that have paid tribute to the man’s mother Gloria James, including the Nike Zoom LeBron VI that had her name hidden in the midsole graphics and this Akron pair that of the Nike Air Max LeBron VII featured her likeness along with a young ‘Bron on the tongue. Perhaps the most direct tribute though was this, the Nike Zoom LeBron II ‘Gloria’ sample in a pink and white pairing from 2004. Click through with us to check out the Nike Zoom

Or was that ‘Lil Penny to his Superman? Nike Air Magma 2012
The Air Magma boot is a trail design whose simple lines and traditional suede plus contrasting laces formula has been a hit since its 1988 debut. It’s been a big part of the All Conditions Gear resurrection in recent years and met with a couple new variations last winter, but has been basically silent since those medial-zippered fragment design collabos dropped last December. This seems to be another one of those cases where the silence speaks volumes to what was going on behind the scenes,

Nike Footscape Woven Chukka Motion “TYO Leopard”
Ostentatious designs are the rule and not the exception when it comes to the Nike Footscape series, so while we have come to expect wildness from this line that represents the essence of Nike Sportswear, this one fits right in with what we might have predicted. The Nike Footscape Woven Chukka Motion continues its busiest year yet with another animal print, this time a monochromatic black leopard that reminds us the simplest of all colorways has been on top since last Christmas.
Nike Zoom Kobe VII “Cheetah” – Release Reminder
Nike has already tried working in snake-skin on a basketball shoe before – the Air Python on 1987 to be exact. Of course the Pythons and the Mambas don’t have much in common, although the Kobe should be credited for making the unique snake shell upper into a functional feature rather than one for glitz and glamour. The Kobe VI was first to introduce the snakeskin upper (given the scaly appearance thanks to TPU bits on the upper), but the VII took it to another level by making the material
Nike Air Foamposite Pro “Bright Crimson” – Arriving at Retailers
The recent news around the Air Foamposite Pro ‘Bright Crimson’ wasn’t much to scoff at, as the release date change constituted nothing but a one-day push forward. We don’t think that really derails any of your plans – in fact, it might make it a bit easier to cop these as well as the Air Jordan VII ‘Raptors’ and LeBron 9 Low ‘Liverpool’ joints on the September 1st release date, but if you’ve been eyeing nothing but the Foams, at least you’ll avoid the Saturday shopping

Nike SB Rabona
Does this model look familiar to you Nike SB fans out there? It should from the sole down at least, with the sneaker wearing the same bottom half setup as the Nike Eric Koston 1. On top is an all new design, one dubbed the Nike SB Rabona that was sneakily first previewed in this quick set of trade show shots. And what exactly is a Rabona? As far as Wikipedia is concerned the name is a reference to a fancy cross-leg soccer kick, a manuever which just might be reflected in the zig-zagging lines
“What the LeBron” Nike LeBron 9
For many sneakerheads the whole ‘What the LeBron’ thing at the moment might actually refer to the guessing game going on with respect to the new Nike LeBron X colorways getting rolled out on the regular, with folks doing their best to pin down the various inspirations for the known colorways. For the rest of us it refers to this, one of the last of the Nike LeBron 9 colorways left in the tank that picks up the recently popular ‘What The?’ motif. Stay with us after the jump to see
Nike Air Force 1 Bespoke “Paul Pierce” By Layupshot
Is the time honored New York/Boston rivalry manifesting itself in sneakers now, with Paul Pierce crafting up his own Nike Air Force 1 Bespoke design to contend with the likes of that Knicks flavored Amare Stoudemire pair? Not exactly, the one you’re looking at here was actually cooked up by a third party in homage of Pierce and the Celtics squad, the design littered with little details that fully exercise the extent of the Bespoke process. Besides the obvious green and white combo the

Nike Dunk Low “American Vintage” by 3R Customs
Remember that Nike Dunk Yeezy custom we just saw that attempted to hybridize those two Swoosh silhouettes? This time around 3R Customs is back at it with the Kanye West influence even though it might be a bit harder to spot. More specifically he borrows the patriotic imagery from the Otis video off the massive Watch The Throne collaboration album between Ye and one Sean Carter. The Dunks get dressed up in denim and wrapped in plenty of gaudy details, successfully playing off Kanye’s eye for
“Polarized Pink” Nike Air Foamposite One
2012 has seen some huge leaps in the way we look at the Nike Air Foamposite One, with releases like the ‘Galaxy’ and the ‘ParaNorman’ both introducing us to the idea of graphic upgrades to that molded surface. And while those are bangers in their own right let’s not lose sight of the fact that the sneaker really doesn’t need any sort of print on the upper to make it pop, as exemplified by the ‘Polarized Pink’ pair pictured above that’s on its way for November. Stay
Nike Air Foamposite One “ParaNorman” – Last Chance To Enter
Nike Sportswear and LAIKA Studios teamed up for a special-edition release of the Air Foamposite One to promote the animated film ParaNorman, which launched nationwide last weekend. The sneaker isn’t just a promotional release, but a tribute to kids everywhere with a penchant for the “weird”, so Nike decided that these ‘weird’ Foamposites would go to those who fit the bill. In order to win one of the 800 available pairs, Twitterers were left with the task of finding a childhood
Nike LeBron Low 2013 Model
Alongside the Nike LeBron signature model is a slew of other models that are just as visually exciting, but easier on the wallet. These models, like the Ambassador series and the LeBron ST Low, have yet to hit the States, but who knows what product channel might open now that LeBron is now a widely celebrated athlete across the nation? Bringing this upcoming 2013 LeBron Low model wouldn’t be a bad start; it features an upper akin to the LeBron X with the sharp
Fabolous in Air Jordan 1 RTTG “Las Vegas”
The number of celebs that touched down in Las Vegas for the recent Project tradeshow has been well documented, with the sneaker savvy being especially drawn to the event considering all the juicy previews at hand on the floor. With that being said it seems like Fabolous would be one of the go-to guys to make it out there, and although he did skip it his sneakers still reflected the Las Vegas location via this slightly slept on Air Jordan 1 from the RTTG series. Nike Air Max Hyperposite “Dynamic Blue” – Arriving at Retailers
There’s no shame in deferring to the GOAT, especially when you’ve got plenty of game yourself. The Nike Air Max Hyperposite debut last Saturday was thinned to a single colorway from the originally slated three, presumably to make room for the ‘Golden Moments’ Pack that might be the biggest Air Jordan release all year. So instead of a mid-August release, we’re looking forward to early September for the ‘Dynamic Blue’ Hyperposite,

LeBron James in Nike Ambassador V – Red/Black
He’s already responsible for the most expensive basketball sneaker ever released and will soon push the market to unprecedented territory with a $300+ signature model, but LeBron James has shown up exclusively in one of his secondary models during a celebratory tour of China. The two-time Olympic Gold Medalist, reigning NBA Champion and three-time MVP (all those summer of 2010 and ’11 doubts start to sound a little silly when you read that this August, no?) is

Air Jordan 6 ‘Infrared’ OG 3M – Available
Did you know that the original Air Jordan VI ‘Infrared’ had a layer of 3M under the perforated panels? This is probably news to the new comers but if you owned a pair back in the early 90's, You might remember the flashy feature that hasn’t been added to an Air Jordan 6 yet. Even the 2000 and Air Jordan 6 Infrared from the pack didn’t have the 3M feature but if you’re looking for a pair that does, You can purchase them Now

Air Jordan XII PE Spotlight
We started at the Air Jordan VIII and moved on to the Air Jordan V – now let’s take a look at the Air Jordan XII, which based on our findings, might be the most plentiful Air Jordan XII Player Exclusive ever made. These PEs date back to the first round of Retro releases in 2004 when guys like Richard Hamilton and Carmelo Anthony were rotating Air Jordan IVs, to the recent 2009/2010 cycle when Jordan Brand welcomed Dwyane Wade to the roster. Below is a heavy-hitting surplus of AJ12
Nike SB Dunk High Pro – Classic Charcoal – Tar
The VNTG look has long since affected the midsole of Nike Dunks, although we’ve never seen it spread its influence all the way over to the Nike SB side of things. That remains true, but the charred look hitting on the bottom of this Nike SB Dunk High Pro almost resembles the faux-weathered look. Aside from that the sneaker sports a swath of dark sectioning up top, with charcoal suede mixed up under a jet black Swoosh. Continue reading to check out the sneaker in detail and if you like what
Nike All Court 2 Low – Size? Exclusives
The Nike All Court 2 in its various heights has been out of the picture for a while now, with its successor the Nike All Court 3 garnering quite a few more retail drops in 2012. Grabbing at your attention again is this set of Size? exclusive Nike All Court releases, both pairs utilizing brushed suede up top and a little bit of contrastive stitching to breathe some exciting new life into the Swoosh-less 1975 silhouette. Jordan Spiz’ike iD – Cement + Nubuck Samples
Sneakertherapy showed you a peek last week of the soon-to-drop Jordan Spiz’ike iD options, and today we have a couple of samples demonstrating potential combinations of the nubuck and cement elements. Both of these Spizike iDs are done largely in grey for that blank ‘Try-On’ effect, which both amplifies the red and yellow accents, and draws extra attention to the velvety uppers. We get a sense of all the various colorblocking options that’ll be available
Nike Blazer Mid Premium “Filbert”
A certain soft shade of brown is playing a major role in Nike’s fall lineup, and just like George Costanza’s realization that Filbert is one of two nuts named after a person (‘Hazel’, the other), there’s plenty of personality in this golden hue with the unassuming name. The Nike Blazer Mid Premium (apparently no longer a ‘High’, nor VNTG despite all the signs of both) makes good on the potential with a new tonal release that gets more out of its ‘dirty

Air Jordan VII “Bordeaux” OG with Matching Socks
We’re sure that a few smug folks turned their nose up at last year’s Air Jordan VII ‘Bordeaux’ retro, those keen enough to still have a pair on ice after 19 years of waiting. And while we’ve got to tip our hats to those folks there is an even higher bar to reach as far as Air Jordan VII preservation goes. This awesome set blows the competitors out of the water by coming packaged with the forgotten matching sock set, a pair featuring the arrowhead 23 logo on the sides. Click
Nike SB Eric Koston Heritage “Infrared”
While Gino Iannucci and his Nike SB Challenge Court are busy borrowing from Nike’s tennis lineup, Eric Koston is dipping into the Air Max well with this hybrid, the still somewhat mysterious model known as the Nike SB Eric Koston Heritage. As you can see it’s the Nike Air Max 90 ported over here, with remnants of the beloved ‘Infrared’ colorway manifesting in the back badge and “Eric Koston” along the side well in place of the traditional Air Max hit. Nike LeBron X Plus $300+ Price Tag Sparks Debate
The soaring heights of LeBron James’ popularity have never flown at a higher altitude – and the man’s earned his miles. After completing one of the most successful years in basketball sports history by winning a League MVP, his first NBA Championship, an NBA Finals MVP, and an Olympic Gold Medal, LeBron James has the serious hardware to back up the claims of being perhaps the best player to play the game. While Jordan’s loyalists and the Kobe constituency won’t let that
Nike Air Zoom Flight Five iD – New Material & Color Options
We don’t see much of the Zoom Flight Five here in the States, but this mid-90's model tied to Jason Kidd has a rather cult-like following in Asia. Regardless, the Zoom Flight Five has been available on Nike iD for quite some time, but a recent updated to the colors and materials options has produced these sick samples spotted out in Nike Harajuku. If you needed any more convincing that these are indeed a favorite in Asia, just check out the iD capabilities with Chinese characters
“Invisibility Cloak” Nike Air Penny V
Almost one month Sneakertherapy gave you a first look at the looming Nike Air Penny V in the ‘Invisibility Cloak’ colorway, and while the name suggests a clandestine aura, there’s nothing unassuming about the shoe. Featuring an iridescent gradient-like applique on the midsole similar to the Kobe VII release of February, the Air Penny V receives an immediate upgrade in style with the amazing color-blocking and shimmering borders along the Hyperfuse upper. As with all Penny sneakers, the
Air Jordan 8 Ray Allen PE – Black – Green – Available
Ray Allen had some of the best Player Exclusives in his career, including a few that released at House of Hoops in 2007. Nike SB Dunk High – Black – White
Nothing new here: Nike SB brings back the basic two-toned Black/White Nike SB Dunk High every so often, and for this September 2012 roll-out of footwear, you’ll have the opportunity to re-up on this no-frills colorway. This Black/White release first popped its head up in November of 2008 as the ‘Venom’ colorway (as the antagonist to the Nike SB Dunk Mid ‘Spiderman’), but since then, Venom’s made much less harmful comeback on numerous occasions and this September confirms yet
Air Jordan 5 – ‘Metallic Silver’ Nike Air Sample Available
We’ll never see Nike Air on a retro (aside from the upcoming Air Jordan 1's releasing in 2013) and even if you cop a pair from the early 2000's, you still won’t be able to wear them due to possible crumbling. But you can always sole swap the newer retro’s with the old and copping a pair of samples with Nike Air, will surely pay off if you’re good with swapping out the soles. Nike Air Force 180 High – White – Red – Black
The classic Pump System won’t be making it’s return anytime soon but we’ll certainly see the Air Force 180 High this holiday season in several colorways. The model originally featured the Pump System and some may say that without the pump, it is just another one of Nike’s teaser silhouettes but over all, the upcoming Air Force 180 delivers the “Old School” feel with a big tongue, and the Gradient midsole as seen on the original. Nike Air Foamposite One “ParaNorman” – New Images

Nike Kobe VIII
Kobe’s not done. The Black Mamba made it abundantly clear at the end of the shortened 2011-12 NBA Playoffs, with the Lakers exiting contention at the hands of Oklahoma City, that his career was far from over. He definitely proved that out in London, skipping summer vacation and racking up some more hardware for his mantle in the form of an Olympic gold medal. And with the Lakers squad getting a huge boost in the form of both Dwight Howard and Steve Nash going into next season we’d say
Nike Air Max Hyperposite – Black – Navy – Light Blue
So Nike Basketball decided to push two of the three presumed debut Air Max Hyperposite colorways back to avoid a conflict with the Air Jordan ‘Golden Moments’ Pack (the third, released pair itself a Chicago-style indirect homage to His Airness). Don’t look for that delay as a sign of things to come, though, as this new Nike Air Max Hyperposite joins the growing collection that figures to play a major role in the upcoming roundball season. Air Jordan VII “Raptors” – Black – True Red – Dark Charcoal – Club Purple
The Air Jordan VII continues to be a hot trend in sneakers at the moment much in part due to Chris Paul’s Air Jordan VII ‘Olympic Gold Medal’ PE as well as the upcoming release of the Golden Moment Pack. But preceding the ‘Olympic’ is the original Black/True Red colorway of the Air Jordan VII that Michael Jordan debuted after the 1992 NBA All-Star Game; this OG Air Jordan introduced the off-beat purple into the primary ‘Chicago Bulls’ colorway of an Air Jordan shoe, and as
Nike Air Current – Black – Dynamic Blue
With the European sneakerhead set leaning toward ‘trainers’ more than their basketball-crazed US counterparts, it was a logical though jealousy-inducing move for the latter to see the former get their hands on this summer’s Nike Air Current retros first. But while the Volt joints touched down at some spots way earlier than expected and we’re still waiting for the Total Orange design stateside, the Dynamic Blue edition pictured above has missed its July target, both in the Euro zone and
Nike Air Tech Challenge Hybrid – Reflective Sample
In terms of execution, the Air Tech Challenge Hybrid is one Nike’s best hybrid mash-ups ever created. It captured the essentials from each and ever model to create a mega-mixed design of Agassi awesomeness into one shoe that could have very well been an “Agassi .5? model like the Air Jordans we’ve seen in the past. Giving this already exciting shoe an added visual punch is the reflective panel on the upper that brightens up when hit with a flash of light. Unfortunately, this is just an
Nike Air Trainer 1 Premium “BB51″ – Black – Khaki
Among the chief reasons that Beaverton is synonymous with the world’s best sneakers is another famed Oregon ‘B’ who shared serious ties with the Ducks family. Nike co-founder Bill Bowerman came back to his alma mater after a tour of duty with the US Army in WWII, led the ‘Track Men of Oregon’ to an incredible stretch of success in the 1960s, then set his waffle iron to ‘world domination’ and pushed the Swoosh to the top before passing on the eve of the new millennium.
Nike SB Challenge Court – Black
Yeah a couple of guys like Stefan Janoski and Eric Koston are seeing their sneakers stripped of the Nike SB branding, but that doesn’t necessarily mean a net loss in models under that umbrella due to some other guys adding silhouettes of their own. Up next for the silhouette is this all black pair, one whose perforated sections

Nike Air Max Darwin 360 – Deep Royal Blue – White – Current Blue
Is this next episode of the Nike Air Max Darwin 360 saga meant to pay tribute to its namesake biologist, wrapping the sneaker in a set of oceanic tones as a nod to the single celled origins of mankind? We’re gonna go ahead and say no, but you don’t need a backstory on these to make them work anyway, although the mix of colors is rather similar to the Nike SB Dunk High ‘Oceanic Airlines’ that dropped some time ago as part of the LOST Pack. Stay with us after the jump for the official

Nike LeBron 9 “What the LeBron”
For a good number of the colorways that hit on Nike Basketball’s big trio of signature silos it was often a pack ordeal, from the Christmas to the All-Star Game to Easter, wherein the Nike Zoom Kobe VII, Nike Zoom KDIV, and the Nike LeBron 9 were all outfitted with variations on a similar theme. The Nike Zoom Kobe VII ‘What the Kobe’ wasn’t one such release but according to this pair that almost wasn’t the case. The Nike LeBron 9 ‘What the LeBron’ appears to be a Nike sample that

Nike Air Force 180 High – OG Gradient – Available on Ebay
The upcoming Nike Air Force 180 High – OG Gradient release doesn’t quite match up to the original version, but it certainly brings back memories of what was once the greatest Basketball shoe of the 90's. Originally donned by David Robinson, the Nike Air Force 180 High featured a mechanical pump system that would add more air to your jump and displayed some of the best colors of teal and black. These won’t be releasing anytime soon but for those who are interested in buying these,
Air Jordan XIV Low – White – Columbia Blue | Unreleased Sample
The Air Jordan XIV is one of the Jordan Brand legacy series silhouettes that gets toyed with the most as far as in-house alterations. There’s the seamless and the nearly seamless version, both of which do away with the curvy lines on the upper in favor of a cleaner slate. This Air Jordan XIV Low is an example of the latter, letting the leather shine to a greater extent on the white/columbia blue colorway. Do you prefer this approach or does the Air Jordan XIV just not do it for you without
Drake in Air Jordan VII “Golden Moments”
You didn’t think with all of his Air Jordan connections that Drake ended up with only half of the upcoming Air Jordan ‘Golden Moments’ pack did you? Completing the set is this string of photos from his cameo appearance at the Nicki Minaj Pink Friday tour stop in NYC. Much like the last sighting he keeps his whole outfit locked on to the sneakers, ditching that white Puff Daddy era tracksuit for an all black look here complete with a bit of gold around the neck. Nike Air Foamposite Pro – ‘Crimson’
Fall is around the corner and that means Foamposite season will be in full effect. Kicking off the Fall season is the Nike Air Foamposite Pro ‘Bright’ Crimson that takes a metallic silver upper and adds a Crimson touch on the sole, pull tab and swoosh. Will you be picking these up on September 1st? Let us know.

Nike Lebron 10 – Floridians
The Floridian Lebron X was the first colorway that made headlines last week and today, we’ve come across more photos of this upcoming colorway that features a Black and Flamingo-esque theme. Perhaps you can dub these the ‘Floridian’ away due to it’s color coordination with the Away Uniforms worn by the Miami Heat. These will release release in the next few months and will be one of the first few colorways to kick of the 10th Lebron. Copped? Let us know.

Nike Air Max Hyperposite – Arriving at Retailers
The next Foamposite release is almost here! If that had you exciting to pick up another pair from the Penny Hardaway line we’ve gotta dash those hopes right now, as the sneaker in question isn’t a full on Foam but rather the Nike Air Max Hyperposite that rocks the molded look on a portion of its upper. The sneaker’s got plenty of other tech packed in too, with Hyperfuse also hitting on the upper and good amount of Max Air cushioning on the bottom. As previously mentioned the wait for
Nike Flyknit HTM Trainer+ – Dark Grey – Black – University Red – Volt
It was a bit of a wait, but the Nike Flyknit collection finally became available to the masses a couple weeks back with the arrival of plenty of colorways for both the Nike Flyknit Trainer+ and the Nike Flyknit Racer. Of course what didn’t become available to the masses was the Nike HTM Flyknit collection, with pairs so far from the third installment popping up only at select spots across Europe. 1948 London held a launch over the weekend, dropping the black and white and the awesome
“ParaNorman” Nike Air Foamposite One
This Friday Nike Sportswear will commemorate the world premiere of the animated film “ParaNorman” as a celebration of “weird kids” everywhere! Sneaker News was first to show you these amazing Foamposites on Monday, which feature a plethora of unique details; an offset smoky graphic, ‘Weird Wins’ embroidered on the heel-tabs, glow-in-the-dark outsoles, and ‘ZzZzZz…’ on the tongue tabs! Just 800 pairs of the Nike Air Foamposite One ‘ParaNorman’ have been made, and the only
Air Jordan 6 – ‘FLOM’ Custom by El Cappy
Futura’s signature ‘For The Love of Money’ Print has been featured on several dunks within the past few years and this month, the Print comes back but only this time it is placed on the Air Jordan 6. The custom, created by El Cappy, uses the ‘For the Love of Money’ print and adds it on the Air Jordan 6, adding on the classic foreign currency print on the uppers with the signature FL on the heel. Creative? We think so! Let us know what you think about these Air Jordan 6 customs after
“Olive” Air Jordan IX 2012
Jordan Brand is having a ball with producing the stories of Johnny Kilroy and the Crawfish, but that isn’t the only ‘original’ re-telling of the Air Jordan XI; this November 17th, Jordan Brand will re-release the original colorway of the AJ9 dubbed the ‘Olive’, marking the third overall appearance of this color/model. The Olive colorway was instantly recognized for its rugged trail-shoe like colorway and during its original run in 1994 and re-release in 2002, the Air Jordan IX
Air Jordan VII “Bordeaux” Michael Jordan All-Star Game Worn Autographed Pair
Hats off to you if you were around during the days when Michael Jordan used to debut the next in line for the Air Jordan series at the NBA All-Star Game each year. 20 years ago that sneaker was the Air Jordan VII ‘Bordeaux’, with its on-screen debut solidifying yet another Tinker Hatfield hit from the Air Jordan lineup. One young man was fortunate enough to take home that very pair that MJ wore on February 9th, 1992, an autographed gift from Michael as part of a Make a Wish Foundation
Nike Blazer Mid PRM VNTG – Black – Gym Red – Bright Crimson
We know heads are prone to bemoan the VNTG look from time to time, but in this instance the slightly weathered soles are accompanied by some leather on the upper that harkens back to a different day in Swoosh history that should more than make up for the yellowed look. In fact, the buttery leather and the black/red combo on this Nike Blazer Mid PRM VNTG almost has us thinking of the Air Jordan 1 ‘Banned’ from 2011, although this particular colorway obviously doesn’t hold as much weight

Nike Roshe Run ‘Camo’ – Available
What’s not to love about the Nike Roshe Run? It’s a brand new design from the Swoosh team so it gives you a good sense that there’s more to the sneaker marker than 100% retro material, the ride is super comfy (go sockless), and to top it off they come with a pretty small price tag clocking in at $70. Well ok, maybe what’s not to like so far is that the model hasn’t gone too far on the graphical end, sticking to the basics of blocking in tune with its simplistic design. Pushing
Air Jordan 4 Retro – Black – Fire Red
Are you ready for another Black Friday release? After 5 years since it’s CDP release, the Air Jordan 5 Retro Bred is back with another drop, scheduled for Black Friday and while most are happy with their CDP release, You can’t go wrong with Re-upping on an Iconic colorway such as the ‘Bred’. These are scheduled to release this Black Friday at $160. Let us know if you’ll be scooping these up come November.

Mache has made a name for himself here with Custom submissions everyday. Nike Zoom FC x FP
This time around that little ‘x’ in the model name of the sneaker doesn’t signify an outside collaborator, but rather a reigning in of a couple different Nike models and technologies onto one silhouette. The base is the Nike Zoom FC, upgraded with the likes of the Future Primitive sole technology on the bottom, the resultant Nike Zoom FC x FP being one of those models that’s still walking the boundary of the transitioning Nike SB collection. Air Jordan 10 ‘Shadow’ Sample – Available
Jordan Brand Held off on releasing the Air Jordan 10 ‘Shadow’ back in 2005, around the same time the ‘Steel’ 10 and several other classics made their debut as well as new colorways. The Shadow 10 eventually released in 2008, along with the Air Jordan 13 in the Countdown Pack. The original Air Jordan 10 ‘Shadow’ sample did not display the 23 on the side, while the CDP version did. However, for those wanting the non 23 pair, You can purchase these old samples now. Nas in Nike Air Force 180 “Olympic”
Nas is no stranger to grabbing the gold, actually surpassing that 500,000 units landmark pretty consistently in his discography with a whopping eight out of ten solo albums hitting platinum (Who said anything about a one hot album every ten year average?). Nonetheless he seemed pretty stoked on Team USA’s ability to do so, showing up for a wild night out in London courtesy of Swizz Beatz to cap off the gold medal performance on the last night of Olympic festivities. Nasty even got on the mic
Air Jordan IX GS – Medium Grey – White – Imperial Purple – Cool Grey
Early rumors regarding a re-release of the French Blue/Grey Air Jordan IX stirred up some excitement, but it was later confirmed that this Air Jordan IX was in fact colored up in ‘Imperial Purple’ and made just for kids. In fact, the Air Jordan IX ‘Imperial Purple’ is a Girls release, so if the past is any indication, expect a lot of Grey/Imperial Purple Air Jordans and Jordan models for Girls throughout the Holiday 2012 and Spring 2013 season. We’ve got an exclusive look at this

Nike Air Force 180 High – OG ‘Gradient’
There’s nothing like the sight of a classic colorway on one of the most iconic shoes of the 90's. That colorway ladies and gentlemen, is the gradient Black and Turquoise which was the signature colorway for the David Robinson Pump sneaker that released over 20 years ago. The gradient finds it’s way back in 2012 on the Nike Air Force 180 High but before we get all excited, remember that these won’t feature the pump system as the original. However, the colorway featured on the new
Jordan CP3.VI “USA”
Yeah, yeah, LeBron turned plenty of heads with the roll out of his new sig on the court of the Gold Medal game against Spain but he wasn’t the only one doing so. Jordan Brand solider Chris Paul also took advantage of the international stage, slipping on a USA flavored pair of the upcoming Jordan CP3.VI. This sighting marks both the first time we’ve seen the sneaker on court and the first time we’ve gotten a good look at it beyond the catalog renderings and sterile product shots. Click
Nike Air Max 1 “What The One” Customs By Revive
One of the most fine-tuned sneaker customizers out there is Revive Customs, who completed not one, but two outstanding “What The One” remixes three years ago. We’re talking about his jaw-dropping Air Jordan 1 ‘What The One’ from 2009 and his Air Trainer 1 custom for Niketalk’s Help Haiti auctions, so while an Air Max 1 version was already written in the books, we can’t help but be absolutely floored at Revive’s latest work. Using the Air Max 1 as the base, Revive Customs
Nike Air Max 97 Hyperfuse “Volt”
From the track and field events to the medal stand ceremonies, Nike made sure that its electric “Volt” tone was the color of the Olympics, the super bright yellow green mixture becoming instantly recognizable after London 2012. And while the 30th Olympiad saw mostly new-era runners equipped with the color, that’s not to say that retro pairs can’t enjoy it as well. Case in point is the Nike Air Max 97 Hyperfuse shown here (not to be confused with the quite similar CVS version) which
Nike Flyknit Trainer+ – Upcoming Colorways
Ten colorways of the Nike Flyknit Trainer+ released not long ago. Apparently, Nike things 10 isn’t enough. Here’s a look at a dozen more colorways of the Nike Flyknit Trainer+ headed our way; it’s a solid mix of the basic two-toned ‘tonal’ compositions (darker and lighter shades) with true two-toned versions like the Volt/Red, Red/Grey, and Green/Yellow. Do you prefer the Flyknit+ Trainer build over the Lunar-cushioned Nike Lunar One+ (headed for a Spring 2013 release)? Flip
Nike Zoom KD IV “Gold Medal”
While LeBron James and his new sneakers have been domination the Sneaker News headlines over the last 24 hours, his fellow Nike athlete Kevin Durant justifiably deserves some of the spotlight. After Durant led Team USA to a Gold Medal with his 30-point performance, we showed you first actual images of the Nike Zoom KD V last night, revealing the next chapter of the Zoom KD saga that has escalated to new heights due to the popularity of the Zoom KD IV. There’s still more KD IV to be had, like
Nike Zoom Rookie ‘Galaxy’ Available Early

Nike LeBron X – Silver – Orange
The endless Nike LeBron 9 colorways carved out a pretty good lane for that silhouette, cranking out neo-classics on the regular rather than resting on the laurels of previously established pairs (although we did see the reprisal of a few themes here and there: South Beach, Dunkman, etc.). Will the Nike LeBron X do the same? So far for the sneaker we’ve seen a couple of colorways that already appear to be paying homage to the model just prior, with ‘Floridians’ spotted and now this, a
Nike LeBron X “Bred”
When King James debuted the Nike LeBron X on court over the weekend at the Olympics the colorway was of course crafted to go along with his time on Team USA, wrapped up in the standard patriotic palette. And now that we’ve seen that likely anomaly you know that he’ll be making the transition back into Heat colors once the NBA season starts, a transition the likes of the Nike LeBron X ‘Bred’ shown here oughta help him with. Kevin Durant Debuts Nike Zoom KD V
As we wrap up the current cycle of signature shoes and the last of the remaining releases hit stores, we lay out a fresh new doormat and welcome in the next installments of LeBron, Kobe, KD, CP3, Melo, and Fly Wade for the upcoming 2012-2013 NBA Season. Yesterday, we were given a nice helping of fresh new kicks as LeBron James debuted his LeBron X during Sunday morning’s Gold Medal game (as did Chris Paul his CP3.VI), but Kevin Durant actually had his fellow Gold Medalists beat by
Air Jordan VII “Olympic Gold Medal”
20 years ago, Michael Jordan sealed his first ‘Golden Moment’ of his NBA career by winning the top prize at the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona. Earlier today, Team USA repeated that feat as they defeated Spain in a competitive Gold Medal final, and it appears that Jordan Brand had some goodies in store for their athletes. Here’s a look at a sick Air Jordan VII ‘Olympic’ re-done with a luxurious golden trim on the upper, replacing the silver detailing seen on the original. Will

NBA MVP, NBA Finals Championship, NBA Finals MVP, Olympic Gold Medal. Best year ever for LeBron? Nothing’s going to beat that (unless he can pull it off again in 2016 with an All-Star Game MVP), but right now, life’s pretty sweet for LBJ. Nike LeBron X – Officially Unveiled
As the USA takes on Spain in the Olympic Gold Medal game this morning, LeBron James has left his Lunar Hyperdunks in the locker room, electing instead to debut the Nike LeBron X to the world. We’ve seen a few peeks at LeBron’s 10th signature Nike shoe, but with the whole world watching King James go for gold in London, what better time to officially unveil the shoe than with the stage so big and the lights so bright. Alongside LeBron wearing the shoe for the gold medal game, Nike has
Nike LeBron X “USA” PE
While the Nike LeBron 9 dropped a few milestone pairs this weekend to celebrate King James’ first championship the Nike LeBron X had its coming out party at the gold medal game for men’s basketball out in London, Bron switching up his footwear for the first time in the games to show off the upcoming monumental tenth design. The backwards Swoosh sporting sneakers kept things in line with the red, white, and blue, even going so far as to plant a little flag towards the back end. Click
