Nike Roshe Run Premium NRG “Khaki”
Enough praise has piled up that it is by now a known quantity throughout the sneakerhead scene, but coming from nowhere to be arguably the lifestyle sneaker of the year also qualifies the Nike Roshe Run for 2012's most highest success to expectation ratio (remember, we hadn’t even seen the Roshe at this time last year). The ‘sleeper’ status is one that needs a bit of refinement at this point, because once this new Khaki Roshe Run Premium and its
Nike Vortex Vintage Lunar “Filbert”
The Air Vortex remains the most enduring of three V-Series retro runners resurrected by Nike Sportswear in 2011, having issued several new colorways including plenty of VNTG styles for this year. The familiar silhouette is back again in a Vintage style for the holiday season, but this time it’s packing state of the art cushioning technology as the Nike Vortex Vintage Lunar NRG keeps its time-tested upper but swaps the old Air sole out for a fresh new
Nike WMNS Air Force 1 Light High QS “Stud Pack” – White
We’ve seen the Nike WMNS Air Force 1 Light High and Air Force 1 Low done up with studs in black leather, and now here’s a bit more yin energy to balance things out. Nike Zoom Meriwether Mid – Black – Sport Red
The success of the initial colorways last year and into this spring, paired with a couple similar spin-off styles and the overall robust health of the current All Conditions Gear lineup would seem to suggest a strong future for the Nike Zoom Meriwether. And yet here it is, less than five weeks remaining in 2012 and this is our first release since it got cold again. The wait looks to have been worthwhile, though as we get the most aggressive Zoom Meriwether ACG yet, a Black and Sport Red
Nike Kobe 8 “Grinch”
Following the official reveal of the Nike Kobe 8 earlier in the week, longtime Nike designer Eric Avar took to the social media arena to offer up an additional preview of what’s in store for the model. Pictured here is a green based release that is immediately reminiscent of the ‘Grinch’ theme popularized by the Nike Zoom Kobe VI. One would expect such a release to be a Christmas one, but we’ve already pegged down this scaly look as the Christmas pair so that status is up in the air
Nike Air Force 1 High Military Boot “Blackout”
A rugged weather-ready style following in the footsteps of the Work and Duckboot variations, the Nike Air Force 1 High DCNS Military Boot has evolved from an XXX Collection one-off earlier in the year, to now one of the regularly rotating styles. The latest edition opts for a ‘Blackout’ style that’s so popular it almost feels overdue, but this is indeed the time of year to rock a water-resistant super-tractioned sneaker. Let us know how these compare to the earlier earthy colorways
