Extra Butter x Reebok Pump OXT ‘Sheriff Ahchoo’ – Release Reminder

There are benefits to a piece of news being kept under tight wraps. Although that isn’t the case with most sneaker releases these days, the crew at Extra Butter treated their last two collaborations with Reebok like a movie director treats an upcoming blockbuster movie, controlling the flow of public information on their own and creating just the right amount of buzz before the release of the shoe. Continuing with the ‘Ahchoo’ theme from the Pump AXT, Extra Butter moves on to another Pump classic – its OXT cousin – using the nature-driven colors from Sheriff Ahchoo’s garments with the pheasant feather detailing on the upper (each shoe essentially has its own unique pattern). Nike Air Yeezy 2 – Wolf Grey – Pure Platinum

Are you ready for more Nike Air Yeezy 2 madness? Back in 2011, the Nike Air Yeezy 2 debuted in the Black Mamba film featuring Kanye West. The Nike Air Yeezy 2 would soon make it’s appearance once again at coachella. Since then, the Nike Air Yeezy 2 has been randomly showing up on Don C’s Tumblr and soon enough, a release date time frame was announced. One of the colorways taking the place of 2009's Zen Grey, is the Nike Air Yeezy 2 – Wolf Grey – Pure Platinum, that features almost the same features as the Zen Grey version.

The Nike Air Yeezy 2 takes inspiration from Egyptian Mythology, which is no surprise as Kanye West wore the Giant Horus chain at a few events within the past year. The Strap also features Egyptian Hieroglyphics, which message is unknown for now.

Other details include glow-in-the-dark soles, a leather lace toggle and chunky metal lace tips, which are also used on the included drawstring bag.
